Built in 1790 right on the Creeper Trail | Abingdon, VA

This is the Abingdon Donkey Lodge that’s right on the Virginia Creeper Trail. This house was built in 1760 as a one-room log cabin then in 1830 it had some additions added on to act as a farmhouse. It’s the oldest standing residence in Washington County! It served as a Civil War Hospital back in the day…wonder what the walls would say. It can accommodate four people considering there are two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a dining room.
