I’d love to sit out on the wrap-around porch and watch the horse and cattle roaming the fields! The house has 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and sleeps 10 people. The ranch is located at the foot of the Beartooth Mountains; it’s 15 miles from the town of Red Lodge, and 65 miles from Yellowstone National Park.

There are just a few weeks open in September. And after mid-October, the rental is closed for the winter and will re-open in April 2023.
Important things to note: this property is closed for rental during the winter months (late October – March) due to its remote location and possible difficulty reaching the property in snowy conditions. If you’re loving this one, keep checking back for open dates in the spring/summer of 2023. Also, pets are only allowed if they are approved in advance.

-“Where to begin?! The home that Byron and Debi share is lovely! They are incredibly generous! There is so much room inside the ranch home and the wrap around porch is perfection! We sat outside often, reading, chatting etc. As we sat on on the porch we had breathtaking views! It fills the soul to just sit and take it all in. And to add to that you see horses, cattle and two of the friendliest, lovable dogs ever! Peaceful and beautiful! We made a habit of walking down to see the manager Nancy and she was gracious, kind and patient enough to answer all our questions about ranch life. We asked a lot of them! It is so different here than how we grew up and the life style we live. It was so interesting learning about ranch life in Montana.
