A few weeks ago, Rondé and I went to visit our daughter Yammile in Chicago. Yammile’s first choice cuisine is Korean BBQ and this is her favorite spot …. IRON AGE Korean Steakhouse. It’s located in the Wicker Park area of Chicago.
When you come, make sure you come hungry! Since it is a place where you are cooking your own fresh meats, seafood and vegetables on a grill, it will definitely make you want to keep eating plus it is a one price per person, ALL YOU CAN EAT meal.
If this is a new experience for you, don’t worry about wondering what or how you should order. Your server will explain everything to you at the table. Also, the menu is very streamlined making it easy to choose what to order for your meal.
It is first come, first serve so no reservations can be made but the wait time is never too long. The restaurant is spacious, with a lot of tables and the service is fantastically efficient.
The food is delicious, making it hard to stop filling your plate. Hearing the sizzling grills and K-pop music create a fun, entertaining vibe. This is a good spot to go with a large group of friends and not have to spend a lot of money too. We understand why Yammile loves this place!
