As you know, Rondé and I recently went to Scottsdale, Arizona for a golf trip and to celebrate Rondé’s Birthday. Along with going to LA HACIENDA, we also went to our favorite steakhouse BOURBON STEAK Scottsdale. Just like their sister restaurant in Miami, we walked into a warm and charming entrance area. It began our dinner night quite nicely.
Our dining experience started with an amuse-bouche, compliments of the chef. The presentation was creative and it was exquisite. Shortly after, we were served Bourbon Steak’s well known duck-fat fries with their 3 sauces …. always delicious.
Everything on the menu was about identical to Bourbon Steak Miami with their signature butter-poached steaks and wide variety of seafood choices. We knew we couldn’t go wrong with anything we chose. Tonight, we decided to share our entree and sides.
We went with the 10 ounce Mishima American Wagyu Flat Iron Steak as our entree. Complimented with a side of Organic Glazed Mushrooms and their special of the night, Fried Rice with an over-easy egg on top. The meal was amazingly appetizing.
To celebrate Rondé again for his birthday while in Scottsdale, Bourbon Steak kindly presented him with a mini ice cream cone and candle plus a chocolate mouse (obviously, we will never turn down chocolate!). We absolutely still had to order their warm, fluffy and popular beignets!
If we were to give you one small difference between Bourbon Steak Scottsdale and Bourbon Steak Miami, it would be the vibe at the Scottsdale location. It has a southwest, laid-back charm. Bourbon Steak Scottsdale makes you want to settle in for a bit and make your dinner experience last as long as it can. We’ll be back!
Bourbon Steak Scottsdale is located at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess. The restaurant is open 7 days a week from 5:30pm – 9:00pm. Reservations are highly recommended and can be made at OpenTable.
