Calling all the Ladies and Lords! Go back in time to medieval Scotland when you stay at the Williamswood Castle in Knoxville. I mean come on…secret passageways, towers, swords, armor, 300 acres to explore, a multi-level balcony, antique furniture, your OWN pub, etc.. This place seems magical and the hosts definitely have eyes for detail; with the small details in the woodwork and the painted sistine chapel on the main bedroom ceiling. You truly wouldn’t even want or need to leave, there is so much to keep you busy at this one.

I would definitely plan a trip here. I mean your own castle AND it’s 10 minutes from downtown Knoxville?

I would literally spend all day exploring the ins and outs of this property. I already have a plan and I don’t even have a date set. Wake up with a cup of coffee while looking over the river on the balcony. Then go on a short hike around the grounds to enjoy the nature center. Walk around in the castle finding secret passageways. Unwind with a book from the library and a pint from the pub. The bedrooms are so cool it’s bringing out my inner nerd for medieval times.

This seems like the perfect place for a family trip or a couples retreat. It’s 4500 sq ft, there are 3 bedrooms but it can accommodate 6 guests, and endless things to do to keep everyone busy. It would be great to spend new years here! You would have a great view to watch the fireworks in the distance from the balcony.
