This is one of the cutest little beach cottages I’ve seen! Even though it’s pretty tiny (just one bedroom and one bathroom), it has lot to offer. I mean, look at that deck and those unobstructed views of the ocean. And it’s also in a great location, just one mile north of St. Augustine, where you can take a historic tour of the oldest city in the U.S. or enjoy shopping, dining, and nightlife!
Book your stay at this property
This one is a hot commodity for beach season because it is booked all summer with the first open dates being in October. I would check for cancellations or book during the off-season for a more slow-paced, relaxing vacation.
What I love about this house is that it’s not your typical beach house. It was built in 1946 and still has the original pine wood throughout, which I think gives it so much charm. It’s also listed as one of the closest houses to the beach in the area and you will most likely have the beach to yourself while you’re here. Sign me up!
The house has 1 BR and 1 Bathroom and has a limit of 2 adults with no pets allowed. There is no TV or washer/dryer, but it does have wifi. But with that huge deck, I think I would be spending most of my time there rather than inside watching TV (something I can do just about anywhere!)
Looking out of the front of the house and across the undeveloped marsh, you can see the Spanish tile roofs of St. Augustine.
St. Augustine is known as the oldest city in the U.S. and is famous for its Spanish Colonial architecture, cobblestone streets, historic tours, shopping and dining. Here is a link to some activities you can do in St. Augustine.
