If you love seafood, this is the BEST SEAFOOD restaurant in Portland, Maine …. BOONE’S FISH HOUSE & OYSTER ROOM! This waterfront restaurant is located in the heart of Portland and the Home of the Original Baked Stuffed Maine Lobster.
We had dinner at BOONE’S Fish House and Oyster Room with our youngest daughter Justyce and our close friend & newly selected National Hockey League Hall of Famer, Jeremy Roenick (in the black t-shirt). It was the perfect place to eat and drink well!
I began the dinner night with dessert first because I couldn’t resist trying a Pistachio Ice Cream Martini, very yummy!
We were in town supporting the Drive Fore Kids Golf Celebrity Golf Challenge. Rondé and Jeremy were both playing in the golf tournament to help raise money for the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital and the Dempsey Center.
Justyce came along on our trip too. She had never been to Maine so she was thrilled to see how beautiful the area was and how much Portland was a foodie city. It has over 600 local restaurants.
Dinner at BOONE’S Fish House & Oyster Room was more than amazing. The seafood was so fresh and delicious. It was very hard to choose what to have for the night especially since our stomachs wanted to try everything if possible, Ha Ha!
We had New England style Clam Chowder soup, Raw Oysters with Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail, Hard Cider Mussels and Fried Calamari. I think we almost hit every seafood item possible for our starters!
And for our main entrees, we could not resist trying BOONE’S Original Baked Stuffed Maine Lobster.
We can only repeatedly say how flavorsome, appetizing and very enjoyable every dish was for dinner. It was the again the BEST SEAFOOD!
Finally, even though I did have dessert first with my Pistachio Ice Cream Martini …. You all should know by now that we do not skip trying a dessert at our dinners. We had their Blackberry Cheesecake. It was sweet and delish. It was a magnificently fun night with our friends Ben, Jeremy and daughter, Justyce!
BOONE’S Fish House & Oyster Room is country-chic with an absolutely “Maine” atmosphere. We were met with fantastic hospitality and given attentive service throughout the night. We highly recommend coming because it is now our main spot when we visit again soon.
Attire is casual. BOONE’S is open for lunch and dinner everyday. Reservations are suggested but not required. You can make your reservation on RESY.
