I just love the farmhouse style of this cottage and its gorgeous views of the countryside! This property is part of a 55-acre farm and although you will feel miles away from everything, you’re really only half an hour to Charlottesville and very close to some great wineries, breweries, and cideries! I could definitely see this cottage being the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of imbibing!
Book your stay at this property
There is quite a lot of availability right now and with spring right around the corner, it would be a great time to book your wine country getaway!
With 2 bedrooms, a nursery, and 1.5 bathrooms, it seems perfect for a small family gathering. There are many options of things to do nearby, whether it’s a spring garden tour, a leaf-changing visit in the fall, or a tour of nearby historic sites like Monticello. A lot of visitors have stayed here when they are in town for a University of Virginia football or basketball game. The cottage is actually connected to a larger farmhouse where the owners stay but it has a separate entrance and is very private according to past guests.
Here’s what some of the reviewers have said about their stay:
–“A charming Airbnb with a view that will take your breath away. Charles and Janet’s cottage apartment had everything we needed. It was impeccably clean. Although the house is connected, the apartment was completely separate with its own entrance, and we felt we had complete privacy throughout our stay. I highly recommend booking your stay here. When you wake up in the morning and take in the idyllic landscape view, I promise you won’t regret it.”
–“The cottage is so lovely and feels like home. The comforts, conveniences and special touches inside combined with the tranquility and beautiful views outdoors made for a relaxing stay. Charles and Janet were very good about communicating with us, and we were so very pleased with our stay and hope to return.”
–“We loved our stay!!! My husband and I were meeting up with old friends. This home was the perfect size for the 4 of us. It was well stocked, clean, and incredibly cute. We felt away from the hustle of DC and there was so much to do. We spent our first-day exploring vineyards, breweries, and cideries all about 4 miles or less away. We would absolutely use this home again.”
