Only an hour from New Orleans and Baton Rouge, is this treehouse surrounded by the Bogue Chitto River. Featuring 2 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, a living space, kitchen, and dining area. The living area sold me! It’s spacious, airy, and cozy looking. Outside you can find seating underneath the home, a fire pit area, a hammock, and of course…river access. This is close to water excursion companies, so if you stay here in the warmer months expect to see some tubers!

Things to keep in mind before booking, pets are not allowed here, parties cannot be held here, there is no WiFi and cell service may be spotty, this is for a maximum of 4 guests, it will be a little chilly indoors during the winter but there are space heaters, and the hosts recommend that children under 12 do not stay here.
