At only 130 square feet, the dome is definitely tiny, but there are several additional outdoor structures and features that enhance the space. This dome house is located about 5 minutes from downtown Todd, which has a cute historic mercantile and about 15 minutes from Boone, a great mountain town with lots of restaurants, shopping, and outdoor activities like hiking and skiing nearby! It’s also about 5 minutes from the New River, which is great for kayaking and canoeing. Some important things to note before booking: the kitchen sink is closed during winter months to avoid freezing pipes, but water is available through the bathroom sink and a grill is available for cooking. Some may consider this more of a glamping-type experience, so make sure this is what you’re looking for before booking.
