We love seeing these old schoolhouses being turned into short-term rentals! They make for a unique stay and you already know that the historical aspect catches our eye. This one in particular, was built in 1886 and stood as a one-room school until 1952. It is now a 2 bedroom home with a bathroom, living space, and a full kitchen! Along with on-site laundry, a fire pit area, and 2 acres of land.

This would be great in the spring! Up to 4 guests can stay here for under $150 per night.
Read what a couple of the past guests had to say:
- “We loved the history of the schoolhouse and the private area with beautiful farmland and wooded views. Anna was very kind and finding a bottle of wine upon our arrival was a great start to the weekend! The firm bed was very comfortable!“
- “Even better than the pictures. Was a cool little get away for the weekend. It’s surrounded by farmland, but still close enough to Canandaigua if you wanted to go to town. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. Would 100% stay again!“
Things to keep in mind before booking, calendars are only open 6 months out, there is driveway parking, smoking/parties are both prohibited, pets cannot stay here, and this is for a maximum of 4 guests.
