This cozy treehouse-like home is nestled in a Redwood Forest along the Mendocino Bay. There are local markets and restaurants nearby, but as there is no kitchen, stopping in town to grab food is a must. The home features a one-room space with a bed and sitting area. Now you’re probably wondering about the bathroom, it’s a partially enclosed outdoor tub and shower along with a compost toilet! I can’t imagine how peaceful and relaxing it would be to soak in the tub with the sounds of nature in the background. And check out that patio, makes me want to read a good book and sip on a glass of wine.

We were even lucky enough to catch some rain during our stay and it just brought the Forrest to life! We picked up some pizza, and watched some twilight on our laptop and just enjoyed everything this stay had to offer. From the bathtub to the hammock outside! Absolute perfection!“

Things to note before booking, there is no WiFi and cell service is spotty, the property is shared between guests and the hosts, there is a compost toilet, there is no kitchen, it’s recommended you get there before dark, and pets are not allowed.
