Just over a 30-minute drive to Tampa is the white sand beaches of Treasure Island. With tons of great bars and restaurants near by, there is no shortage of things to do. We’ve visited numerous times, but next time we head down there, we’re staying at this perfectly designed surf shack!

- The space is just as beautiful in person as it is in the pictures. Perfect walking distance from the beach and restaurants. We loved it so much.
- This is a great spot for a walk-to-everything little beach getaway. Nice little beach neighborhood, the Bali hut itself is very cozy, a few minutes walk to a range of restaurants and pubs (definitely beach casual), bars, live music, and the gulf beach. One of the main reasons we chose this over any island motel/hotel was that they allow one-night stays which, at least every motel I checked with on the islands, they just don’t do anymore in season. Well, the motels lost my business and AirBnB scooped it up.

The ‘Beautiful Bali Surf Shack’ isn’t big. It’s a one bed, one bath unit. So if you’re traveling with family, this might not be the choice for you. However, if you and your significant other want a stylish getaway on the gulf coast, this looks like the best bet on the island!
