Stay at your own PRIVATE ISLAND | Swansboro, NC

This is truly the definition of getting away from everything, you have your own island, the bare minimum, and a licensed captain that will shuttle you to the mainland! There is a cabin and a tent on the property, so you can give your kids that true camping experience. This seems like the perfect place for a couple or a family, it’s really what you make of it. The property has an outdoor shower, 4 kayaks included, generator, rain barrel, AC, fireplace, grill, etc.. It has everything to make your stay comfortable.

Book your stay at this property

I have seen this island before while boating and had always wondered if it was for sale. Well now that I know it’s rentable I will definitely be booking my stay soon!

This is typically fully booked so if you see an open date, I suggest you grab it.

I’m imagining it now, waking up to the water slowly crashing, enjoy a nice cup of coffee or tea while walking the island, and maybe even go on a sunrise kayaking trip. If you got all the groceries you need for your stay you wouldn’t even need to leave the island. Spend all day exploring the island or kayaking around Swansboro. Then unwind by grilling dinner and then getting cozy by the campfire with a drink.

What more convincing do you need? Take a look at these reviews:

-“This place is worth every penny! We had a fantastic time with our 3 kids ages 4-12. Days full of wildlife, swimming, kayaking and island exploration that ended with moonlit campfires by the water and ridiculously comfortable beds. Book this, you will not regret it!”

-“By far the best experience from start to finish! Whether the thought and consideration of their guests to communication and response time. I can’t Rave enough about this Vacation experience”

-“Such a fun and unique experience. The dogs loved it also. Just as described. We will definitely be back!!

-“It was a perfect glamping experience! Great to be away from everyone but still close enough if needed anything. Communication was great and Captain Mikey was super helpful. Would totally book again!”

From the reviews and the listing there are some things you will want to note. Always wear shoes when walking around the island, the prickly pears are no joke. It is dog friendly so your furry family can enjoy the island as well. You will see a ton of dolphins, crabs, and sand dollars during your stay, which is a convincing point in my opinion. A couple reviews were saying how nice it is to swim around the island, maybe not during the cold months but it would feel almost surreal swimming around your own island while boaters drive by.
