This one gives me some “Pleasantville” vibes, but in a good way! It’s one of 2 rows of adorable salmon-colored beach bungalows right on the beach in Oceanside, which is about 45 minutes north of San Diego. There’s something to be said about being able to walk right out of your house and right onto the beach without having to lug all your beach things in and out of cars or up and down boardwalks with steps. You get that with this bungalow, which is also very close to the pier, harbor, downtown, shops, restaurants, and attractions.

I love how light and airy it is and the natural wood floors and ceilings, contrasting with the fun salmon-colored exterior. The bungalow has a studio layout, but actually sleeps up to 3 people with a murphy queen bed and a sofa sleeper. It also has a bathroom with a shower, a picnic table, and beach toys.
