Gothic English Cottage within Walking Distance of DWTN New Hope, PA

Something that stands out about this VRBO is that there is a canal that runs through the neighborhood! Some of the past guests have talked about walking along it during their stay. This home, built by Morgan Colt, sits in a historic Gothic English village that used to be home to renowned artists and architects.

The rental features 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, a living space, and a fully stocked kitchen. Along with a spacious property where you can sit and enjoy the sounds of nature and the canal. Everything you’d need is within walking distance…nice restaurants, a live theatre, cute antique shops, and wineries. You can also take some time out of your stay for a boat road or a train ride in an old steam engine!

Book your stay at this property

There are some dates left in October and November! It looks like they only open their books a few months at a time.

Read a couple of the reviews:

  • A spectacular setting, romantic, magical & simply enchanting. We love Eleanor & her son Kurt. We have so many fond memories. Thank you.
  • We stayed in the Herringbone Cottage in a village of English cottages, an artists colony in a previous life. All surounded by a secret garden! Our hosts, Eleanor and Kurt gave us a tour and transported us back in time with the history of the property and their family. Perfect hosts, perfect getaway. We also fully enjoyed the canal path, New Hope and Lambertville. We hope to be back! Ron & Angela S.

Things to note before booking, children and pets are not allowed here, weddings cannot be hosted here, and with long-term stays there are weekly cleanings.
