Charleston is one of our favorite east coast destinations! It’s got it all. The historic downtown, the waterfront parks, the amazing food, and just a 15-minute drive to beautiful beaches. The only problem is that we usually end up staying in a pretty basic hotel when we visit. Next time we go, we are certainly going to be doing things a bit differently. Just out your window, you’ll see all the street life, with the carriage tours marching right past your building. 2 blocks away is the famous rainbow row, and right down from that is the battery, which is Charleston’s most famous waterfront park. Tour the city, hit the beach, grab some dinner downtown and then walk right up to your private apartment in the midst of it all.
