This is the Ginseng House, the hosts built this from wood they cut around their farm. It sits on 170 acres and Buffalo Creek runs right by it. This is perfect for outdoorsy people who are in need of a secluded getaway. The house has a loft and a pull-out bed so it can host 4 guests, you can also pay an extra fee to pitch a tent for any extra visitors. Ginseng house is run by solar power…small appliances run great! While staying here you can buy eggs and maple syrup from the hosts and go down to the local country store for other food and supplies.

Good news! Pets are allowed at this one. A couple things to note, there is NO WiFi, bring a flashlight or lantern for cloudy days, bring a cooler due to there being no fridge, bring water bottles and hand sanitizer as well, and the outhouse is right beside the house.
This is a rustic off-grid experience! So don’t expect luxury. I’d love to stay here to recharge.
