I want to call this one “the Desert Rainbow House” because it’s just so colorful. There’s a red bedroom, a green bedroom, and a tan bedroom, and every detail is so well thought out that all of these colors just WORK. I can really see myself coming here to relax and unwind. There are so many great spaces created for just that, the exterior lounge space, the flower-filled stock-tank swimming pool, the cozy library filled with books and records, the circle nook in the window of the master bedroom, or that 1970s fireplace perfect for curling up in front of with a good book. I want to be in all those spaces right now!

Dates are available for this one and it IS pretty pricey, but also impeccable. This would be a vacation for you if you’re wanting to step it up a notch!
This is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house that sleeps up to 6 people. Kids and pets are welcome too! The house sits on 5 acres of private property and is about a half-hour drive to Joshua Tree National Park. On this house’s listing on Plum Guide, there are quite a few recommendations of restaurants and activities to try out nearby. I think I’d hit up the Red Dog Saloon and then check out the live music at Pappy & Harriet’s!
