Rent this Historic Outer Banks Home and Savor the last moments of your Summer at the Beach! | Nags Head, NC

I’ve never seen so much wood paneling and I have to say, I love it! This adorable beach cottage was built in 1903 by E.R. Outlaw Jr (the current owner’s great uncle) and is so aptly named “The Little Outlaw Cottage”. It is a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom house that sleeps up to 8 people and it’s located right on the beach. I love the large deck and private boardwalk to the beach; two great features to look for in a beach house so you don’t have to haul your beach supplies far!

There are a few weeks available in September and October. I love beach trips in the fall because it’s still warm enough to swim and way less crowded than the summer months!

Past guests have loved the historic charm of this beach cottage. Here’s what else they’ve had to say:

“Such a wonderful “beach” house in the old tradition. Exactly what we love about the outer banks – it’s history and older cottages. Thanks to the Outlaw family for making this fantastic piece of history available to others.”

“This cottage is a classic! We enjoyed looking at all of the history on the walls. It still has its old charm but has been updated in some ways as well. The locations couldn’t have been better. With small children, the short walk to the ocean was easy. “

“We were very pleased with the cottage. Access to the beach was perfect, very quaint home, loved the decks. Our vacation was during a very busy week but you wouldn’t have known it, lots of privacy at the beach, so peaceful. Had all the amenities you would need.”
