Rentals that are PERFECT for a Valentine’s Day Trip

Valentine’s Day is a holiday that is celebrated annually on February 14th. It’s a day when people express their love and affection for one another, often by exchanging cards, chocolates, or flowers. Some couples also go out on dates or give each other special gifts. And sometimes, planning a Valentine’s Day trip can be a great way to spend quality time with your significant other and create lasting memories. Although it is traditionally associated with romantic love, Valentine’s Day can also be a time to show appreciation for friends and family members. Whether you choose to spend this day with your significant other, family, friends, or even by yourself…a trip is a great way to make for a great holiday.

So we have gone through the rentals and hotels we have featured in the past and picked the ones that have open dates near or on Valentine’s Day!

The Most Romantic Treehouse! A swinging bridge, observation deck, outdoor showers, and more! | Crane Hill, AL

What sets this treehouse apart, in my opinion, are the way the builders used a lot of repurposed items throughout the house including antique doors and reclaimed windows. The treehouse is located on 40 acres of private forest and also includes a 2 acre lake, which you can take a boat out on.

Dreamy Atlanta Treehouse, add on a personal chef, massage, or mixologist for a romantic getaway! | Eastpoint, GA

The interior of this treehouse is not what I expected! Most treehouses I’ve seen have a rustic design aesthetic but this one is quite luxurious and I love all of the pink! There are some fun add-ons you can book with your stay, including a celebrity chef 3-course meal, an onsite couples massage, a private mixologist class, or even a violin concert.

Stay in this Completely Restored Trolley Car | Castaic, CA

I love all the windows and that red color is perfect! This trolley car features a bed, bathroom, and a kitchen and dining area. Along with a spacious deck with seating, a fire pit, and a grill! I wish this was closer to me! I’d love to stay here. The property isn’t far from grocery stores, restaurants, wineries, Six Flags, and other local attractions.

Octagonal Treehouse with Floor-to-Ceiling Windows | Otis, MA

This sustainable octagon house comes with fair trade coffee, organic bath and cleaning products, a compost, and 100% cotton sheets and towels. Along with those wonderful amenities is 1 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, a living space with a wood-burning fireplace, a full kitchen, and a mud room area. And check out that deck! It’s so spacious and has a grill, propane firepit, and tons of seating. This property is completely secluded but close to a few restaurants in the town of Otis.

Stay in an Oceanfront Cottage in a Private Cove | Gualala, CA

With panoramic views, luxury bath essentials, and local/organic items this is the ultimate Gualala getaway. The hosts offer local coffee, sparkling wine from Mendocino, free-range eggs from their chickens, and more. The house features 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, living space, full kitchen, dining area, and laundry room. There is also a large deck, yard space, and hot tub. The home sits in a cove on 10 acres with beach access.

Treehouse perfect for a couples retreat! | Mountain Rest, SC

There are trails and waterfalls in close proximity to the treehouse. The host definitely put a lot of thought into the details with this treehouse. I mean come on, there’s a wine holder in the outdoor shower. Don’t worry if you’re not comfortable with an outdoor shower, there’s an indoor one as well. There are a couple cool antiques strewn through the house as well, I think it adds to the homey feel.

Whimsical Storybook Treehouse Close to a National Park | Columbia Falls, MT

This treehouse was featured on Zillow, HGTV, DIY Network, and a couple others. It’s situated on 5 acres in close proximity to Glacier National Park and Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort. This is perfect for avid hikers, skiers, or those just wanting a secluded but romantic getaway.

Historic In-Home Post Office Close to Civil War Earthworks | Spotsylvania, VA

This rumored in-home post office was fully restored and turned BnB. It features a bedroom, bathroom, living space, kitchen, and dining area. There is a loft but you can also open the pull-out couch for any extra guests. This is such a romantic home and the tub in the bathroom is big enough for two people. There are also trails and Civil War earthworks around the property.

Treehouse with a view (and near the breweries) | Asheville, NC

Just take a look at this property! It’s less than a 10 minute drive to the downtown bars, breweries and restaurants. Only another 10 minutes to get down to the historic Biltmore mansion. To get all of that WITH a view, IN a treehouse? What could be better? Just take a look at this place!
