This igloo is situated in Borealis Basecamp, a Fairbanks resort with the only clear-roofed igloos in Alaska! And get this, you can book a dogsled ride that picks you up right outside your dome. The resort also offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner along with cookies and hot drinks. Which the past guests have raved about. Other than enjoying the great food, you can go hiking, biking, snowshoeing, ice fishing, or just enjoy a relaxing night by a firepit!

It looks like they only open the books a couple of months at a time, but there are dates left in October and November!
I love how the igloos have kitchenettes and private bathrooms, and they are warmed for those of you concerned. I’d love to watch the auroras while sipping a glass of wine in the comfort of the igloo!

- “This place was amazing and far exceeded our expectations. From the hosts quick responses to the friendly and helpful staff we could not have asked for anything more. The accommodations were clean and the bed was super comfy! While it was very cold outside the room was warm and cozy. We stayed two nights and were able to catch the lights both nights; however the second night was much more amazing then the first night! The food in the restaurant made by the chef daily from scratch is some of the best that I have had in my travels. I would highly recommend Aurora Borealis Basecamp as a unique and amazing way to view the northern lights!“
