Stay at this Luxurious Yurt on a Farm with an outdoor fireplace, pavilion, creek and hiking trails to explore! | Lexington, VA

I love how spacious, light, and airy this yurt is! I was impressed to read that the unique wooden beams throughout the yurt were made from reclaimed wood from a log cabin that was built here in the 1800s. Another feature I love about this yurt is that it goes way beyond your typical glamping experience and offers wifi, electricity, heat and AC, and all the modern amenities to make your stay comfortable.

The yurt is located on Stillhouse Farm, which has 59 acres of woods, including hiking trails and a creek. You can also take a tour of the farm while you’re here, which has sheep, cows, and chickens.

There are some dates opening up later in the summer/early fall for a little over $200/night, which is a great price when divided by 10 people!

This is a fairly large yurt, sleeping up to 10 people. Downstairs, you have an open living room, kitchen, and dining area, a bedroom with a queen bed, and a bathroom. Upstairs in the loft, there are three queen beds, 1 sofa bed, and a floor mattress. Based on the open sleeping area upstairs, this seems like it would be fun for a group of friends or for people that don’t mind shared sleeping quarters.

Outside, there is a large pavilion with picnic tables next to a huge brick fireplace that would be perfect for outdoor s’mores roasting!

“My wife and I had such a good stay here. The Yurt is comfortable and clean with modern design and amenities. April and Zach’s farm is a very peaceful hideaway- a great place to use as a home base for nearby Lexington, Natural Bridge, and other hikes. Loved it.”

“The yurt was an amazing experience. The special touches, numerous outside seating options and secluded landscape was more than we expected. We plan to visit again for a longer stay to be able to enjoy everything the farm and area has to offer.”

“We loved this wonderful, comfortable yurt. It was our first time staying in a yurt, but the reviews and photos made us take the leap and we couldn’t have been happier. The location is great, near downtown Lexington as well as a lot of parks and hiking trails. The yurt itself is perfect for two (although does sleep more in the loft). We were there during a 3 day heat wave (98+) but the downstairs section was perfectly comfortable. We were concerned that the only a/c was in the main living area, with nothing in the bedroom but we (who both prefer a cold bedroom) were cool and comfortable. The yurt was fully stocked with all you could need (kitchen, bath and bedroom). The bed was firm and there were many pillows to choose from. And the baked goods…..my goodness the baked goods…… Wow! April should open a bakery. We had the traditional sourdough (which was huge) and the blueberry scones. Almost considering a detour when heading home to get more!! Don’t hesitate on this one. Highly recommend”

This one just seems like a no-brainer to me! You have a comfortable, spacious, and affordable place to call home for a few days while you explore an adorable farm and the surrounding area. Let us know if you stay here!
