Stay in the “World’s Largest Beagle”! A Truly Unique Experience for Dog Lovers | Cottonwood, ID

I’ve seen a lot of pet-friendly BnBs at this point, but I have to say I haven’t seen a pet-shaped one before! This one is definitely unique! Here is your chance to actually stay inside the “World’s Largest Beagle”. And of course, you can bring your furry friend for a $20 pet fee if approved in advance.

What I found to be truly unique about this place is that it is also home to two chainsaw artists who are famous for their dog-shaped wood carvings, which they sell out of their Chainsaw Art Gallery next door. I have to say, this would be one of the most unique experiences for dog-lovers. And I definitely wouldn’t leave here without picking up a wooden-carved dog as a souvenir!

This rental has 5 star reviews on Trip Advisor. Read what some of the past guests have said about their stay:

“I have wanted to come here for sooo many years. They are only open 3-4 months out of the year so u have to book the exact day they open reservations. We flew from Atlanta to Boise to make the 4 hours drive to Dog Bark Park Inn. The drive through the mountains was soo worth it. Although I wouldn’t want to do the drive at night or bad weather. The owners, Frances & Dennis are wonderful. This was their labor of love and you can fill it when talking to them. We’re just so blessed we were able to meet them and stay in Sweet Willy. The couple built the “dog hotel” by themselves and its so special. This was a bucket list item and it really made me smile to be there”

“It was a dream come true for our kids to sleep inside a dog!! We drove quite a ways off from where we were headed to come here, and let me tell you, it was worth it. Frances and Dennis are wonderful hosts, and we spent much of our time getting to know their story and how this place came into being. The room itself is simple, comfortably furnished and full of dog paraphernalia. We spent a good amount of time playing “Beagle-opoly”, and our kids were thrilled to be able to sleep in the “snoot” of the dog. Delicious homemade muffins and granola, hard-boiled eggs, cheese, milk, juice and yogurt, awaited us for breakfast (there is a small kitchen space with a microwave, fridge and coffee maker), as well as afternoon snacks of fruit and chips. Frances and Dennis suggested a few drives and hikes in the area, as well as a few restaurants nearby, We purchased a couple of dogs to take home and will treasure the memory of Dog Bark Park Inn for years to come.”
