There is a king bed in the sleeping loft and a queen bed in the downstairs bedroom. I love the wide-open floor plan for the living space, the giant windows giving you views of that expansive deck and the lake, and the fact that even the kitchen is situated so you can cook while gazing out at the lake. There’s also a propane grill and a firepit outside, perfect for grilling up dinner or roasting s’mores!
The house is located 2 miles from Finley Point State Park, where you can take out your boats or kayaks. Heading east from the house you’ll find one of the most scenic drives along the Eastern Shore of Flathead Lake. Nearby, you also have the towns of Big Fork and Polson, which have a lot to offer in the way of restaurants, shopping, and activities.

A few things to note, this Airbnb allows 1 pet for a pet fee but requires the pet to be crated when you’re not home and the pet is not allowed on the furniture (my dog would not do so well with these boundaries, unfortunately!) Also, 4WD is recommended in the winter since there is a steep drive up to the house. There is also a short steep trail from the parking area up to the house to be mindful of and children are not allowed due to the loft area.
This house seems like it offers the best of both worlds, close enough to be able to enjoy activities in the towns nearby, but far enough away to offer a peaceful secluded retreat with access to all that nature has to offer right from your doorstep!
