This houseboat seems like it would be the most relaxing getaway! There are so many windows bringing in all the natural light and I love the color palette of whites, reds, and natural wood.
The houseboat is located on Pemaquid Pond, Maine, which looks so serene. It can sleep 3 people, but more comfortably sleeps 2 as there is a single and double bed in the main cabin. There is also a large deck on both the front and back of the boat and an upper deck on top of the cabin that you can reach by ladder. You also have a small toilet and shower, and a kitchenette with a small refrigerator and a gas stovetop. It seems like just the right amount of everything you would need for a minimalist weekend getaway on the water!

There are several dates available over the spring and summer, which I imagine is a nice time to visit Maine!
One important thing to note is that you may not operate the boat during your stay. But rather than simply staying put by the dock, the owner actually takes you out a few hundred feet from the shore so you can enjoy the feeling of being out on the lake.
You can go for a swim, layout on one of the decks, or enjoy a pour-over coffee while lounging in the sun-filled boat. There is no wifi on board so I would recommend using this vacation as an excuse to totally unplug and detach yourself from all of the distractions of daily life. I would bring some good books, good coffee, and good wine and have the most relaxing time away from it all!
