This Treehouse has a Cleared Roofed Bedroom Perfect for Stargazing | Homewood, CA

With tons of natural light, beautiful arched doorways, a clear roofed bedroom, and beach access just a minute’s drive away…this is fit for a magical getaway. The home features 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living space, a loft, a full kitchen, and a dining area/reading nook. If you look at the listing, you’ll see a historic outhouse on the property…but it isn’t in service for those of you curious. The property is located about 10 minutes from Tahoe City where you can find restaurants, shops, and local attractions. But I think i’d like to stay in this small town during my trip, it’s a short walk from the beach and there are local places to eat and shop at nearby!

Book your stay at this property

There are open dates left from November to February, but books clear up in March!

An artist designed this home back in the 70s! Love all the windows and wood detail inside.

The past guests have raved about their stay, ranging from the beautiful interior to the magical feeling you get:

  • TPT truly offered a magical experience – with convenient private beach / pier access, a hot tub, fire place, and the softest / most lush linens – all the amenities that make for an easy weekend away! Not to mention – the loft – waking up to the view of the trees is a breath of fresh air in a busy world! Thank you Steven for your prompt responses and attentiveness – you and Milly have a lovely home! We will be back 🙂
  • The tree house is just that. You really feel like you’re in a remote forest. The house is so cozy and we found it really difficult to leave for adventures when sitting by the fire listening to records and passing the time was just so easy. All the separate little cozy nooks makes it easy to find quiet seclusion. Perfect for a family of 4. Mahalo!

Things to note before booking your stay here, there are hefty noise and pet fines, 4/AWD is needed during snow season, and there is parking for 1-2 cars.

We love these cozy treehouses nestled in the woods, take a look at this one in Columbia Falls:
