Recently remodeled, the interior of this house is chic and modern, yet comfortable and cozy too. But what sets this house apart is the exterior grounds. Not only does it have a multilevel deck with sweeping views of the beautiful Virginia countryside, but it also has an intricate set of pathways and stone walls that I could spend my whole day exploring!

I can picture myself waking up, heading downstairs from the cozy loft, brewing my morning coffee, and watching the sunrise while relaxing in one of the Adirondack chairs out on the deck. Then I would throw on some hiking shoes and go explore the pathways and trails that surround the house. After all that exercise, I would hit up a winery catch a little buzz and then head back to the house to watch the sunset with one more nice glass of wine (don’t judge me.). This house seems like a destination in and of itself and a perfect place to unwind before getting back to the daily grind.

With 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and sleeping 6, this house would be perfect for a small group of friends or a couples’ getaway. And you can also bring your pup, whom I’m sure would enjoy exploring the grounds just as much, if not more than you!
The owner does state that it is not suitable for young children due to the many changing levels on the exterior grounds and decks. All the more reason to leave the kids at home with the grandparents while you and your significant other enjoy a romantic weekend away.
The house itself, the beautiful grounds, the great reviews, the fact that it’s pet friendly, its convenient access to wineries and breweries, plus knowing it’s less than an hour to DC are all reason this cute little A-Frame has made our AirBNB wishlist!
