TWO-Bedroom Suite in an 1838 Federal/Greek Revival Home | Milledgeville, GA

Once home to a Georgia governor, is the Rockwell House. A home that features 14 rooms with 14 ft ceilings, original and custom details throughout, a spiral staircase, marble fireplaces, central heat and air, and Viking appliances. This is a great mix of old and new. With a beautiful restoration and modern appliances, it still holds a ton of historical value but with modern comfort. The two-bedroom suite has a king bed with a seating area, a private bathroom, and another bedroom with two twin beds and a seating space. And although this is a secluded 12 acres, the downtown area is only 2 miles away!

  • If you are looking for a great place to stay while in town, this would be the #1 pick. The grounds are beautiful and there is a little pond in the back. Nice place to take a book from the many selections in the home and unwind. The beds were very comfortable.
  • Ross is a great host! We got lucky and we’re the only guests this weekend, this enjoying the entire house to ourselves. Ross spent so much time telling us all of the history of the house. It was really a treat to stay here and sleep on the amazing beds. We look forward to coming back!

Things to note before booking, you may see housekeeping or groundskeepers on site, there are other rooms for rent so other guests will be in the home, this suite is for a maximum of 4 guests, and pets are not allowed.
