I recently went on a girls’ trip to Asheville with some of my best friends from college and we had such a great time catching up over some delicious food and drinks and exploring Asheville! This little house was a perfect setting for our reunion because of its great location. It was just a 5-minute drive to downtown Asheville but was located in a cute little neighborhood with beautiful mountain views so we really felt like we could escape and relax at the end of the day. Every night we sat out on the deck drinking wine and beer, admiring the view of the Blue Ridge Mountains, and reminiscing about our college years!

In need of a winter escape? This would also be a great place to stay if you’re interested in skiing or doing some winter hikes! Check out its winter availability here–>
This house was just the right size for our 4 person group, with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths, a comfy little living room, and one of the best-stocked kitchens I’ve ever seen in an Airbnb. (Seriously, the owner had provided everything from Starbucks coffee to water bottles, to cooking spray and butter. He thought of every detail and it was much appreciated!). One thing to note, there are three bedrooms, two have queen beds and the third has a futon that folds into a bed, which was not super comfortable. I would recommend bringing some extra blankets and pillows or a mattress topper to make that one a bit more comfortable.
In addition to being just 5 minutes from downtown Asheville, this house is also just 1 minute from I-26 (without feeling too close to the noise and traffic of a highway). And this was great because it was easy to get to drive a little way out of town to go hiking and also to get to the airport for my friends who flew in. We were really able to make the best of our time there, spending several days exploring downtown, eating and drinking, and several days hiking.
