Take me back to this house! We just had an amazing week at the beach, mostly thanks to this gorgeous house, which had everything we needed for a relaxing beach vacation! Here are some of my favorite features of the house: 1) it’s located right on the beach, 2) it has a hot tub on the second floor deck with AMAZING views of both the ocean AND the sound 3) it has a large open floor plan with the biggest, comfiest couch ever, perfect for relaxing after spending all day out in the sun!

This is a very popular beach house and it’s booked all summer but some dates open up in October, which is actually still a great time to visit the beach! Still warm, but way less crowded!
The Layout
With 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, there was plenty of space for my entire family. The house has a reverse layout with the main living space on the top floor and the bedrooms on the lower floors. The first floor has a bedroom with a king bed and an adjoining bathroom. The second floor has three bedrooms, one with two full beds, another with two bunk beds (full over full), and a third bedroom with a king bed and en suite bathroom. You also have a separate bathroom on this floor.
The third floor of this house is where its at! As you reach the top of the stairs, you will see a wide open living space with a foosball table, a gigantic couch, a huge TV, a large dining table, a beautiful kitchen, and a wall of windows including a sliding glass door that opens out onto the deck. This is the selling point of the house in my opinion; a great hangout space with room for everyone.
There is also a master suite on this level with a king bed and a bathroom. One thing I love about this house is that every bedroom except the one on the bottom floor has access to one of the two large decks that overlook the ocean. You can open your curtain and gaze out at the ocean without even getting out of bed!
This house also has all of those key outdoor features everyone wants in a beach house; two large decks with lots of seating and great views of the ocean, a hot tub with great views of the ocean and the sound, a grill, a private boardwalk to the beach, and an outdoor shower for getting all that sand off your feet.
The house was also very well stocked, especially in the kitchen. Any kind of pot/pan/ tupperware you might need, they had. There was also a great selection of books, movies, and games.
The ONLY thing I did not love about this house was that it had a spiral staircase. Having a 1 year old child, I was a little worried he might make a beeline for those stairs and fall down them at some point, but we remembered to bring a baby gate so that helped ease my anxiety. There is also an elevator in this home and an exterior stairway on the back deck so you have other options if you don’t want to use the spiral stairs.
We had such a great time at this house on Topsail Island and highly recommend both the house and the island as a great beach vacation spot!
