You Can Stay in this 1904 Bank that has Penny Tile Floors! | Bartlett, TX

Located in one of the most historic towns in Texas, is the Bartlett National Bank dating back to 1904. It was open until 1930 and was abandoned until the last owners recently renovated it. With penny tile floors that are not longer manufactured, multiple vaults that haven’t been opened, and high ornate ceilings…you will get a glimpse of how it looked back in its day.

When you stay here, you have access to 3 bedrooms, a living space, a full kitchen, a dining area, a study, and a wine cellar! Although there isn’t much to do in the town of Bartlett, it is super quaint and the surrounding major towns are not far.

There are a ton of open dates and this rental can host 7 guests!

It’s funny, past guests have mentioned they played out bank heists here. What a great idea!! It’d be fun to dress up to play the part.

Take a look at what these past guests had to say:

  • This is such a unique stay! It was a fun and comfortable stay, and we enjoyed reading about the history of the town. There are a couple of cute shops in the downtown area, just across the street from the bank, so that was nice, too!
  • It was a true treat to stay at the bank! There is such amazing history there and Jennifer has captured it perfectly with some modern twists. We had a wonderful stay, made breakfast in the beautiful kitchen, and spent lots of time admiring the architecture and history of the bank. We will definitely stay here again!!!

Things you’ll want to note before booking your stay, there is plenty of on-street parking and pets are not allowed here.

I don’t think we’ve seen anything like this before! Let us know if you’ve stayed here.
