This rental has great reviews on Airbnb, read a couple of them:

  • This was our second stay at the lodge. It is very comfortable and peaceful. It was a great way to get away for a weekend trip. We enjoyed board games and a movie night and coffee on the screened in porch. The bed was very comfortable and the pull out couch worked well for our kids. It’s a short drive to some great places in the Charlottesville area. We will visit again!
  • The absolute best AirBNB stay we’ve ever had, and we’ve stayed at a lot of places. Gum Tree Lodge was so peaceful, private, and felt like a home away from home. Margaret had lots of little thoughtful touches that made our stay so comfortable!

Things to keep in mind before booking, there is WiFi but the connection can be slow, this is for a maximum of 4 guests, pets cannot stay here, and smoking is prohibited.
