A Silo Airbnb on a Llama Farm | Troy, TX

Featured in multiple magazines and articles, this is the Silo House that sits on the 10-acre Laughing Llama Farm. You’ll have that secluded feel but the llamas, sheep, cows, and goats will keep you company. With the property being minutes from a few towns it’s in the perfect location. The silo features an upstairs loft with a bed and sleeper sofa, a full bathroom, a living space, and a full kitchen. There’s even an outdoor shower and front porch. A lot of the past guests talk about how big and functional the kitchen is compared to most Airbnbs. I’m loving how they styled the interior of this house, it is so unique but screams Texas. Look at the ceiling, it was made from reclaimed barn wood.

  • Great place to stay! The amenities were great! We loved the llamas and sheep, and the goat! So fun to feed them! Bonnie is the best! We were so grateful for the snacks, and fresh eggs! The place is adorable, and thoughtful touches throughout!
  • Awesome silo! We loved it so much! Cozy just like home. Loved the full size stove & bigger kitchen than most Airbnb’s. We got to feed the llamas & take lots of cute pictures from the fence. This home is bright & cheerful. Love the location of being out in the country. Took some back roads (dirt) to drive over to Temple to the meat market. Got steaks & grilled out on the big porch at the silo house. We enjoyed our short stay here!

You’ll want to know that this is a working farm so be mindful, there is a catch and release pond, one-night stays are not available on weekends, pets are not allowed, and there are add-on packages for fees.
