I have to admit that I’ve been more interested in A-frames and Airstreams than Silos but this one really caught my eye. It has two decks overlooking a beautiful pond, so many great features that draw you outdoors, and a modern farmhouse-style interior that will leave you feeling comfy/cozy all over!

The owners recommend visiting in the spring for the best views of the pond before the dry season, so now is a great time to check it out!
Inside the silo, you will find 2 bedrooms and 1 elegant bathroom with a marble tile shower. The kitchen features an antique brick wall and an adorable vintage fridge. (Don’t think I’ve ever described a fridge as adorable, but this one is, folks!) As you round the steps going upstairs, you will find a beautiful and relaxing Hemingway-esque master bedroom loft.
As cute as it is inside, I think I would spend most of my time outside here because they’ve done such a good job creating some beautiful spaces to relax, unwind, and enjoy the view! You have two decks overlooking the pond, an antique claw-foot tub, two swings for kids to enjoy (or kids at heart), a gas fire-pit and a grill. But I think you would find me on that hammock overlooking the water!
And in case you didn’t know, this part of Missouri actually has a LOT to do, including some great wineries just 15 minutes away! One important thing to note, the owners state that the pond can dry up in the hot summer months so if you’re there for the view of the pond, it’s best to book in the spring.
