This house is located in the Greater World Community, the only Earthship subdivision in the world. It started in 1994 and is 630 acres of land with beautiful mountain views! This house features 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, a full kitchen, a living space, a greenhouse, a fish pond, birds, a garden, a chicken coop, a fire pit, and a BBQ grill with outdoor seating. The fact that there are birds in this house blew me away. I mean this is super impressive and nothing close to what we’ve seen before! It seems like you’d be transported into your own little world. Something else to note, this house is completely solar-powered!

Apparently stargazing is super popular here considering there is close to ZERO light pollution. I can’t even imagine how much time i’d spend looking at the stars and watching for UFOs. I’m really curious as to what the other houses look like in this neighborhood…

When staying here you get a free tour of the Earthship Visitors Center and you’re able to walk around the neighborhood to look at the other houses. You should note that the studio apartment may be rented out during your stay but is separate from the living space.
