An Oasis with Hidden Baths | Arcata, CA

This is the Zen Den. A tranquil hidden gem in the town of Arcata. It is within walking distance of the plaza that has shops, restaurants, and breweries. The studio has a porch space, a bed with a Casper mattress, a bathroom, and a kitchen. The kitchen is stocked with a couple of eggs, steel-cut oats, coffee, tea, and popcorn. You can also harvest kale that grows on the property! When booking you’ll have access to the outdoor spa that includes a cedar sauna and private soaking tubs. The property is in Humboldt County, home to the Redwoods! Which is something that is on my bucket list.

Some things to note…pets are allowed, there is secure parking, and the tubs are first come first serve. I’d love to stay here, it seems like the perfect place to reset your mind and body! I can see it now, taking the bikes they offer into town for a day then spending the next day hiking in the Redwood National Forest. Being able to come back to a sauna sold me!
