An Ultimate Off-the-Grid Experience with a Touch of Comfort | Westmore, VT

With views of Lake Willoughby and close to some of Vermont’s most popular scenic spots is this off-the-grid cabin that’s situated on an old orchard. And yes the trees still bear apples! The home features a loft bedroom and a dining/kitchen area. Along with a picnic area, seating space, and an outhouse. The property is about 14 acres with a stream and a forested area you can explore as well! Although it is very secluded, getting to a store is a fairly short trip.

Take advantage of the clear calendar, this is in a secluded quiet area and can host 2 guests!

Read why these past guests loved this place:

  • The place is adorable and well taken care of. Amy and her family are thoughtful and great hosts, I say this without meeting them in person. If you’re looking for a spot away to enjoy time with yourself or others, I highly recommend coming here.
  • This was our second stay at our favorite Airbnb! Two points that always stand out for us – the private location and the quiet setting. You’ll go to bed with the frogs and wake up with the birds. An occasional car goes by, but no traffic noise. We enjoyed exploring around Lake Willoughby and relaxing at the cabin equally. Take this time to unplug and enjoy what nature intended for us to experience. I think we all become better humans when we live a serene, more simplified way of life.

Things to note before booking, past guests have said that there is NO service here, if you need to accommodate more than 2 people the hosts offer a tent, if you’re planning on a winter trip make sure to bring fire starters/cordwood/matches, they provide bottled water in the warmer months, cold conditions can turn extreme in this area, you may feel a draft and see a few bugs and critters, and pets are not allowed here.

There are lots of little things to remember, but most of the past guests had no issues.
