Once you step into this 1869 stone cottage, you will be pleasantly surprised by the beautiful updates made inside. In the main room, you have this gorgeous custom-made live-edge king-size bed, which guests are raving about, a super comfy couch, and lots of natural light. I’m not sure I would leave this room! But as you walk downstairs, you also have a charmingly historic kitchen with the original wood beams on the ceiling and a lovely little bathroom.

There are a lot of open dates going into the spring and summer and as the weather gets warmer, it seems like a great time to stay here and take advantage of some hiking or wine tours nearby!
This cottage is located next to a hidden state park with lots of hiking trails to explore. And although the cottage seems very secluded, it’s only 15 minutes from Leesburg and 90 minutes from DC. This area is also known for its wineries and breweries. I think I’d spend the morning hiking and the afternoon drinking! Then I’d come home to this cozy cottage and enjoy a movie while relaxing in that awesome bed!

–“Beautiful cabin close enough to great restaurants and shops but feels super remote. The owner did a fabulous job on the Reno. The bed is stunning and hand made!! It’s simply beautiful. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend this cabin for a romantic getaway!”
