Historic Fort Lewis Lodge and Farm BnB | Millboro, VA

The Fort Lewis Lodge and Farm sits on 3,000 acres in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Colonel Charles Lewis settled here in 1750, he died in the 1774 Battle of Point Pleasant and his farm has been maintained since then. The Lodge and Farm has been family owned and operated since 1989! You can read the more in depth history and what they do on their website. This place is great for those who are needing a peaceful outdoor getaway. When booking here you have access to hiking and biking trails, the river where you can fish, kayak, and tube, tons of outdoor seating, the wood fired sauna on site, and their working farm.

  • Beautiful mountains, rivers and landscapes. Accommodations are wonderful…rustic decor…extremely comfortable AND include breakfast and dinner…the food is superb. The staff is friendly and efficient. Am pleased to highly recommend Fort Lewis to all who are looking for a unique getaway.
  • Awesome setting, great people. Hands on ownership, helpful staff. Wonderful place to relax, hike, fish, or just hang out.
  • Amazing getaway 3.5 hrs from DC. Great food, friendly service, and so many activities to do around the lodge. Swimming, kayaking, canoeing, and bike riding can all be done from the lodge. Amazing hikes driving distance. Next time we return will be for a longer time!
