Eco-Friendly Desert Home with a Groovy Interior | Tucson, AZ

The interior blew me away! From all of the colors to vintage-esque elements, it’s pleasing to the eye in ways words cannot describe. The home features an open layout with a living space, kitchen(microwave, hot plate, fridge), there is a small dining area, a record player, and a queen bed. You can also find a dry compost toilet, an outdoor shower/sink, and a covered porch with seating. You’ll like to know that this home is situated in an 11-acre sculpture park right next to Saguaro National Parl…which is about 35 minutes from downtown Tucson.

  • Our 3-night stay was very enjoyable. Olivier and Emily have built a lovely place for weary, eco-conscious travelers to hang out and enjoy the Sonoran Desert at Saguaro NP nearby. Accommodation was very clean with a 1970 vibe throughout. We watched a Desert Iguana mosey around under the Ironwood tree in front. We had never seen one before in spite of 25 to 40 years in AZ. Very cool place…
  • This was an amazing little getaway in the desert. The house was adorable. My friend and I enjoyed watching the wildlife and viewing the stars. The owner is super nice and responded quickly to any questions.

Some things to note before booking, another rental and the main house is nearby, there is a dirt driveway but it’s accessible by any vehicle, the home is about 50 yards from the parking area, this is for a maximum of 2 guests, be mindful of your noise level, and pets are not allowed here.
