This adorable little cottage has such a great location! It’s just 2 blocks from the public beach access (that’s a 3 minute walk) and has views of Carolina Beach Lake Park across the street. The cottage has everything you would need for a fun beach vacay with your partner or friend, including 1 Bedroom with a memory foam King bed, 1 bathroom, large front porch with ambient string lights, full, well-stocked kitchen, high speed wifi, 55 inch Roku TV with streaming, an electric fireplace, and reserved off-street parking for 2 vehicles. And I love that the owners state that it is pet-friendly to friendly pets (you must inquire ahead of time and pay a pet fee, but it’s always nice to have that option!)

This beach cottage has so much charm and way more character than you’ll find in those giant, expensive beach homes. If you just want to get away with your partner or a friend (or even have your own place during your family’s beach trip), this one seems perfect for that.
Right across the street from the cottage is Lake Park, which has a walking path (perfect for your morning jog or dog-walk), a playground, picnic shelters, gazebo, and public restrooms. Throughout the summer there’s a Farmer’s Market on Saturdays and outdoor movies on Sundays. You can also rent paddle boats or kayaks to go explore the lake even more.
