Once a Historic Inn, Now a Gorgeous Farmhouse with a Pool, nestled in the Shenandoah Valley | Bluemont, VA

I was not expecting the interior to look so modern and updated! Past guests have really raved about how well-appointed and comfortable this house is. And of course, they loved sitting on the back deck and swimming in the pool!

The house sits on 6 acres of wooded property overlooking the Shenandoah Valley. With 6 bedrooms, 6 full bathrooms, and 2 additional half-bathrooms, it sleeps up to 14 people and would be perfect for a large family gathering or group of friends.

There are quite a few dates opening up this fall!

In addition to the new gourmet kitchen on the main level, there’s also a full kitchen, dining, and living space on the third floor along with a separate entrance. This would be great for any family members who may want a little more privacy.

A lot of people described this house as amazing. Here are some more reviews from past guests:

-“We had an amazing stay at this property. Pictures don’t do full justice to how beautiful this property is and how well the rooms are appointed. Communicating with the host was easy and prompt. Everything we needed was there and more. We would definitely go back and certainly recommend the property to our friends.”

“We had the most amazing time relaxing and working on our office vision while enjoying each part of the house and the heated pool. Can’t wait to return!”

“Beautiful restoration of an old inn that has quite an interesting history and located in the picturesque Bluemont area. We had a group of 12 and all enjoyed the tastefully renovated rooms with all the modern conveniences. Wineries and breweries were close by and when not touring, the pool and deck area became our favorite hang out. Everyone in our group had a wonderful long weekend and this property was a big reason why.”

If you’re not a fan of the modern aesthetic of this home, here’s another historic Virginia home we’ve featured in the past that has a more historic interior:
