Pink is my favorite color! Retro 70s Pink House with a Glitter-Covered Piano! | Twentynine Palms, CA

This one is a truly unique experience. Imagine stepping out of the desert and into a Hollywood glam 70s house with colorful wallpaper, furniture, and decor all around you! Many reviewers commented that they couldn’t stop their impromptu photoshoots with all the fun 70s style and colors changing throughout the house. With two bedrooms and sleeping 6, I think this one would be so fun for a girlfriends’ getaway weekend. I would go to my local thrift store, stock up on some sweet 70s attire, and do a whole retro photoshoot while staying here.

There is a lot of availability for spring and summer because this one is a fairly new rental so now is the time to jump on it before everyone else finds out about it!

Being so close to Joshua Tree National Park, it would be fun to go hiking there during the day and come back for a retro party in the evening. I mean, where else can you find a glitter piano in a master bedroom? After a few cocktails, I’m afraid I would be doing an Elton John impression that I’m sure I’d regret later!

There were a lot of great reviews about this place, but this one really summed it up for me:

-“Incredible experience from yesteryear. This place is a blast from the past, in all of the best ways. Stocked with a 1960’s/70’s motif, the entire location is one visual experience set amidst the beautiful hills and desert solitude of Joshua Tree.
With two vintage inspired bedrooms, a living and dining room out of That 70’s Show, along with
modern comforts like a Roku TV & modern shower— this is a great balance between past and present.
Being a photography & production team by trade, I was in love with the small things (from an
N64 and vintage TV set, to an old RCA video cassette camera & deep freeze fridge) to the glamor of the curtained master bed and bedroom, glittering Piano out of an Elton John Video, and front yard fire-pit.
If you want to enjoy yourself and have endless chances to get photos and content for yourself, this place is a wonderful opportunity to stage a mini photoshoot with the best types of props and styling.
It’s Joshua Tree, known for being in between desert and civilization— but there are a surprising amount of food and store choices nearby ranging from grocery stores to hole in the wall places.
Can’t recommend this place highly enough for those creatives who want something different, remote and exciting to spend a weekend—but also are OK with modern creature comforts that necessitate a fun stay out in the desert.”

Definitely check this one out if you’re interested in a totally retro experience!
