This little house gives you a rare and beautiful opportunity to actually stay within the limits of a National Park. Just look at those amazing views! This is a 1 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom house. One of my favorite features of the house is that wraparound porch. It seems like the perfect spot for your morning coffee or evening cocktail while gazing out at the sound. Another feature I love is the yoga platform down by the water. I would head there for some yoga after my coffee!

The seaside cottage overlooks Sommes Sound and is a 10 minute drive from Northeast Harbor and a 20 minute drive from Bar Harbor. Many past guests have said that this is a wonderfully secluded getaway that allows you an escape from the crowds of Bar Harbor. A few more details about the house, you have a queen bed, a newly renovated bathroom, a futon that folds out into a bed for an extra guest, electric heat, a wood-burning stove, and a fully stocked kitchen (including a lobster pot, what’s a trip to Maine without lobster!?).
One important thing to note is that the internet is very slow here (the owners say it is not good for anything more than emailing) so I would recommend coming prepared to completely unplug from technology and immerse yourself in nature!

I’ve never seen an Airbnb located within the limits of a National Park. This one just seems perfect for a romantic couples getaway weekend, an opportunity to completely relax, unwind, and enjoy the beautiful nature surrounding you.
