Stay in a Cold War Era Missile Silo and get a free tour with your stay! | Roswell, NM

For all of you Stranger Things fans, this one seems like it could be right out of season 4! This is a very unique opportunity to stay in a missile silo and learn about its history. Honestly, I’m not sure I would be up for this one as I’m not a huge fan of being underground. And to top it all off, it’s also located in Roswell, New Mexico, which became popular for a supposed UFO siting in 1947. Seems like it would be a bit too creepy for me to stay in, but I know some people would really love it!

Read these reviews to see why guests have really loved staying here:

“This is a great location especially if you like late 50s and 60s Cold War history. The host, Gary is extremely knowledgeable in the history of the Atlas Missiles. He is very hospitable and will answer any questions. After a tour, you’re free to roam. The living space is open and cozy. The place has all the amenities you’d expect from any “normal” space on Airbnb. The location is about 15 minutes outside of Roswell. It is secluded and quiet. Enjoy.”

“This is truly a unique experience! Gary was a wonderful host and is full of ICBM knowledge. The living space was spacious and had the amenities we needed. This is a must-do for those who love history.”

“This was a really incredible experience! Mark gave me the tour and it was fascinating and informative. I am very glad I decided to make the journey out here. The living area is quite comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked and there is food in the fridge which is very nice after a long drive and given how far away from groceries / restaurants you are. Also, the WiFi worked well; I was able to connect easily. The space is full of books, images, and even Life magazines which I enjoyed reading through. A lot of thought has gone into the space and it feels like you are staying in a museum! I highly recommend booking this spot if you have the chance!”
