Stay in a Historic Home Circa 1762 | Loudoun County, VA

This beautiful 250-year-old house sits in the heart of Loudoun County’s wine country. Located just outside of Purcellville, the property is close to trails, the Shenandoah River, Harper’s Ferry, and other attractions. The house features an outdoor patio around the original summer kitchen, central air, multiple living spaces, three bedrooms, updated bathrooms, and a gourmet kitchen. And don’t forget about the huge backyard space! I would definitely be doing all my cooking in the kitchen and on the grill, even know great restaurants are just a short drive away. I love how this house still has a ton of historic touches, but also modern things like central air and updated bathrooms. The stonework on the summer kitchen is amazing!

Book your stay at this property

There are a ton of open dates, i’d say book a few nights and take advantage of the nice weather!

With 3 spacious bedrooms, this would be perfect for a few couples.

This VRBO listing has almost 5 stars:

  • Such a great stay. It was perfect! Gorgeous property and the perfect spot to host a small family gathering. Historic Virginia farm at its finest!
  • My family and I loved the historic details in the house and the beautifully maintained grounds and outdoor spaces. Laure did everything necessary to ensure a great stay.
  • Owners have gone to great lengths to collect and furnish the house with antiques and curios that fit its character. We enjoyed the patio, the outdoor fireplace, and the outdoor shower. It’s unfortunate that the traffic noise from the rather busy road is incessant but if you can not overly focus on that, as we did, we enjoyed ourselves a lot. Owner seems very nice and helpful.

You’ll want to know that the owners do have a Golden Retriever and outdoor cat. They mention that if you have animal allergies this might not be a good place to stay.
