Steampunk-themed Loft in the Heart of Downtown! | Wilmington, NC

When I saw that this loft was located on Market Street just one block from the Cape Fear Riverwalk, I knew it was a great location! I absolutely love downtown Wilmington because it’s a wonderful mix of old and new; old historic buildings with lots of character mixed in with tons of hip bars, restaurants, shops, and a beautiful riverwalk. AND you are just minutes from some of the best NC beaches! I would book this loft just because of its great location, but it also has a really unique Steampunk vibe and some historic features that I really love. It has exposed brick, original hardwood floors, high ceilings, and large windows and skylights that let in a lot of natural light. With two bedrooms and sleeping 6, it would be great for a family or group of friends. I would love to book this for a long weekend with some of my girlfriends; we could spend a few days at the beach, and a few days shopping and dining downtown!

Here are some reviews from past guests:

“Fantastic location for downtown Wilmington! So close to everything! The loft was so cute and cozy!”

-“Aaron’s place is absolutely beautiful. My daughter and I took a last minute trip to Wilmington and were lucky enough to be able to stay at The Loft on Market. We loved everything about it.
Clean, tastefully decorated, easy access to unit, excellent location, top notch communication, etc. We wouldn’t change a thing and will be returning!!”

“This loft is so convenient to everything downtown. It is clean, well-stocked with linens, etc. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to enjoy downtown Wilmington!”

This just seems like the perfect spot if you’re wanting to explore downtown Wilmington, which has A LOT to offer! Here are some of our favorite spots to check out while you’re here:

Coffee

Bespoke Coffee & Dry Goods – in addition to some delicious coffee, this shop also offers beer, wine, curated retail and can be utilized for event space too! I would definitely hit up this coffee shop in the morning before walking around downtown!

Food

Seabird – this restaurant specializes in seafood with a purpose. With their focus on seasonal and locally-caught fish, their menu is ever-changing and all of their seafood is caught by small-scale fishermen. They are constantly searching for the best methods in fishing, aquaculture, and farming! Eating for a cause is always a win-win in my book!

Drinks

Wine Knot Sky Bar & Lounge – this ambiance is not what I expected from a members only sky bar. It has low-key vibes and also hosts comedy shows, plus you get great views of the city! Seems worth the membership to me!
