I’m not sure I’ve seen a modern treehouse quite like this one. I can see how once you’re inside, you can’t help but gaze outside at the beautiful trees surrounding the house. It’s part of a 120 acre farm, so you will be nicely secluded. And with one bedroom and bathroom and an open studio floor plan, it’s just the right size for a cozy romantic getaway weekend!

This one is VERY popular and booked up for this entire year. But it also seems like it would be worth planning ahead for!
As you walk into the treehouse, you have a lovely sitting area on your left with those amazing views of the forest. You can continue out to the porch for a breath of fresh air, relax in the hot tub, or cozy up with a good book in your king size bed.
I love the geometric tiles on the backsplash in the kitchen and the green-colored cabinets that mimic all the natural greenery out the windows. The design of this house is both modern and comfortable. I’d love to stay here!
The treehouse is located on a 120 acre family farm in Perryville, MO, which is a little over an hour south of St. Louis. Some additional features include: that gorgeous modern gas fireplace, a skylight with a remote solar shade, a rain shower for two and a soaking tub in the bathroom, and an indoor/outdoor coffee bar. Outside you also have a firepit, great for nightly s’mores roasting and a hot tub of course! One feature I absolutely love about this house is that it is wheelchair accessible, something you don’t always find in a treehouse!
Important to note: there is no wifi or TV and just limited cell service with the intention being to completely relax, unplug, and unwind. The owners provide games, books, puzzles, and magazines and have a bluetooth speaker so they recommend downloading your favorite playlists prior to your arrival.

We read poetry while drinking coffee, played a card game & chess while listening to records, hot tubbed at night under the swaying trees, made s’mores around the fire pit, and just enjoyed every minute. You could literally just sit on the deck listening to frogs and bird-watching and be completely content. It was the best & most beautiful space to disconnect and reconnect with what matters most. Also, the guestbook made me cry in the best way. We’ll be back! Thank you!”
