This house looks like it comes right out of The Brothers Grimm! It’s a Fairy Tale Cottage with all the whimsical touches that make you truly feel transported to a different time. There are hand-carved ceilings and an all-white interior that somehow make it seem like a light and airy cave, if that’s possible. There’s a fireplace that I can’t get enough of – I’ve never seen a fireplace with such giant stones! And there are even stalactites hanging from the ceiling!
The house is located across the sound from downtown Seattle and about 20 minutes from Tacoma, but I imagine you will feel worlds away, since the house is surrounded by lush forests, streams, and ponds!

There are just a few dates available for the rest of the fall, but more opening up in the New Year. This cottage would be perfect for a relaxing weekend away.
This Airbnb is for the guest suite of the house, which sleeps 4 people and has a private entrance. The main house is also available as a separate rental and sleeps 8 people. Important to note: there is not a full kitchen, just a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, and coffee pot, but there is a gas grill for cooking right outside on the patio.

The room is so fitting with the design of the home with everything you will need for a comfortable stay. The bed was super comfy and Wi-Fi was a nice bonus. Be sure and take advantage of the outdoor cooking area (which is lit up beautifully at night) and for sure the Hot Tub !! The hosts were very helpful and provided us with a list of local hiking trails. We highly recommend for a nice unique getaway.”
